This cooperation covers the sales regions Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Poland.
The collaboration includes the products that are managed under the Casul brand name.
These are patented functional white minerals with excellent hiding power and a high degree of whiteness based on synthetic ettringite.
These minerals are used, among other things, in the paint and paper industry as well as in various construction chemicals.
Using Casul products enables the production of toxic-free systems. The products also have a fire-retardant effect thanks to the high proportion of water of crystallization, which is released even at relatively low temperatures.
“We are convinced of the properties of Casul products. Their use has a positive effect on the CO2 balance of coatings, among other things, and also contributes to surface protection,” said Ibrahim Zidan, business segment manager Coatings & Construction Chemicals at KRAHN Chemie Deutschland GmbH. “That is not the only reason why they are an optimal addition to our extensive product portfolio for the paint, varnish and building materials industry, a portfolio that encompasses all-important raw material groups such as additives, binders and pigments.”
