Pilot Chemical Corp. announced that Pamela Butcher will step down from her CEO role effective Jan. 1, 2021.

She will remain on the Pilot Board of Directors and serve as a special advisor to the chairman.

Mike Clark, president and chief operating officer of the company, will continue in those roles, serving as the company’s top executive and reporting to the Board of Directors.

He joined Pilot in early 2018 with more than 30 years in the industry and has been leading operations and, most recently, a successful strategy refresh.

Over the next few months, Butcher and Clark will continue to work together to ensure a smooth transition.

As Clark assumes the top leadership position at the start of 2021, he will oversee nine locations and more than 400 employees.
