TESLAN® 3000 EPOXY LOW VOC TOPCOAT is a NORSOK M501 tested solvent-based, two-component, epoxy topcoat designed for the protection of steel and metallic substrates in harsh environments per ISO 12944-9 including CX, IM4, tidal & splash zones.

TESLAN® 3000 Epoxy Low VOC Topcoat can be applied directly utilizing Tesla NanoCoatings’ patented 2 x 1 WET EDGE process. Use directly over TNC Primers or as recommended by Tesla NanoCoatings, Inc. For application over other metallic substrates or existing coatings in sound condition, contact Tesla NanoCoatings’ Sales Service for application recommendations.

NORSOK M501 Low VOC Epoxy Topcoat

Product Description

TESLAN® 3100 LOW VOC EPOXY-CNT TOPCOAT is a NORSOK M501 tested solvent-based, two-component, epoxy topcoat designed for the protection of steel and metallic substrates in harsh environments per ISO 12944-9 including CX, IM4, tidal & splash zones.

This epoxy topcoat incorporates carbon nanotubes (CNTs) together with sacrificial zinc for enhanced durability and maximized corrosion inhibition.

The power of CNTs imbue the topcoat with adhesion properties that place it in a class all its own. In both internal and third-party pull-off adhesion testing, the bond between Tesla Nanocoating systems and the test substrate routinely outlasts the high-grade industrial adhesives that are standard for the testing method.

High Solids CNT Epoxy Topcoat

Product Description

TESLAN® 3125 HIGH SOLIDS EPOXY CNT TOPCOAT is a High Solids Epoxy-CNT liner designed for the protection of steel and metallic substrates in immersion providing corrosion, abrasion, and chemical resistance.

This epoxy topcoat incorporates carbon nanotubes (CNTs) for enhanced durability and maximum coating performance. This formulation contains a higher concentration of solids suspended within the epoxy for superior protection in harsh environments.

The power of CNTs imbue the epoxy topcoat with adhesion properties that place it in a class all its own. In both internal and third-party pull-off adhesion testing, the bond between Tesla Nanocoating systems and the test substrate routinely outlasts the high-grade industrial adhesives that are standard for the testing method.

TESLAN® 4000 Urethane CNT Low-VOC Topcoat

Low VOC Urethane Topcoat

Product Description

TESLAN® 4000 LOW VOC URETHANE TOPCOAT is a solvent-based, two-component, urethane topcoat designed for the protection of steel and metallic substrates in harsh environments. This topcoat is recommended for atmospheric exposure conditions where excellent UV/weathering resistance is required.

This low VOC urethane topcoat is available in a variety of colors, making it the ideal solution for durable markings on storage tanks, pipelines, platforms, and steel decks.

TESLAN® 4000 LOW VOC URETHANE TOPCOAT may be applied direct to metal or to properly primed substrates utilizing the patented 2 x 1 WET EDGE process.

NORSOK Tested and ISO 12944-9 Topcoats

All epoxy topcoat products from Tesla NanoCoatings are formulated to adhere to both ISO 12944-9 standards and NORSOK M501 testing standards alike.

 

NORSOK is a set of testing standards developed by the Norwegian Oil Industry Association and Federation of Norwegian Manufacturing Industries with the purpose of facilitating maximum safety and efficiency of coating systems for the petroleum industry. NORSOK M501 is a standard specifically focused on the properties of protective coating systems for use in offshore applications.

Similarly, ISO 12944-9 is a testing standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization for evaluating the effectiveness and properties of offshore coating systems for steel structures.

These two sets of standards are recognized across the globe as some of the highest marks of quality that a protective coating system can bear. Tesla NanoCoatings is proud to provide topcoats tested to the rigorous standards set by both NORSOK M501 and ISO 12944-9.
